Welcome to Larch Class!
Half way through the academic year already - how time flies!
Our new topic (for the next two half terms) is called All Mine. It has a geography focus and will include a trip to Hopewell Colliery.
New topic means, new topic homework. It has a similar theme to the previous challenges in that the focus is trying new things and spending time together.
The class will have the pleasure of being taught by Mrs Delahoy on a Thursday afternoon, she will take care of art and DT for the first half-term - I can't wait to see what amazing ideas she comes up with.
PE for Spring 2 is 'circuits' and 'cool core'. These lessons will take part on a Monday and Friday and be indoors, so please ensure your child has their kit in school.
If you have any concerns/questions/worries please continue to write in your child's link book or come and see one of us.

A little peak at what Larch Class have been doing at home during the lockdown.
We had a memorable day at Caerleon where we visited the bath house, museum and amphitheater.
Check out some of the photos from our Roman day in January.
We visited a Roman excavation at Ruardean Hill - Nina showed us round, told us lots of interesting facts and we even saw the team find a piece of pottery!
The police came to visit with some 4-legged friends! The horses (and children!) were very well behaved.
Some of our topic work in Autumn 1.
