Class Larch 2022 - 2023

Welcome back to Larch Class!
Year 3

I hope you all had a great half term. We are really looking forward to this term and supporting your child on their learning journey. 

This half term, PE will be on Mondays and Thursdays. Please ensure that t your children has the appropriate kit in school for these days. As per school policy, earrings must be taken out on PE days and long hair should be tied back.

 Library will be on Thursdays.

Home Learning will continue to be set on a Tuesday and returned on a Friday. Please ensure that your child has the required equipment in school.

Children's Choice Home Learning
Please find below a copy of this half term's Children's Choice home learning activities. A copy can also be found in your child's home learning book.
Carol Singing
On Tuesday 6th December we were invited to sing carols at the Over 75's Community Lunch at Christchurch Parish Church.    We sang Silent Night, Once in Royal David's City and Away in a Manger.  
The audience really enjoyed our singing and they commented how fabulous we were.

This week, we shared books with pupils from other classes.

Morning Year 3!
Hope you had a fantastic weekend. Unfortunately, the school is closed today so there is a document below for your home learning. 
Maths - search for different shapes within your house. 
Reading comprehension - read the text and answer the questions (ask an adult if you need help)
SPAG - complete the handwriting and write a sentence of the day. 
History - use books, the internet or talk to an adult to answer the questions.
PE - Get active!! lots of different options
There is a parent help sheet that gives more information if you need it. If there are any issues then feel free to email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
