Pom Pom making!
In our English lessons we have been learning about instruction writing. So we decided to follow a set of instructions to find out how important clear instructions are. We didn't end up with any pom poms at the end of the lesson. HOWEVER, we did learn that perseverance and resilience are incredibly important and that whilst we may feel like giving up, we must keep trying! Stay tuned for a Pom Pom update!
Act it out!
In RE we have been learning about the story of Passover. The story follows Moses. The story is full of important events for the Jewish religion and so to help us learn the story and the values, we acted the story out.
Topics of Learning
Autumn Term One - Get Set Go!
This term we have been focussing on our investigating skills in Science. We have used our science equipment to explore habitats in our school grounds and thought about classifying minibeasts.
Autumn Term Two and Spring Term One - Health and Happiness!
As part of our learning over these two terms we have been thinking about the lives of significant people, especially those who have contributed to the health care system. In history we have been learning about Florence Nightingale and in Science, how to keep ourselves healthy.
