Information for Parent Governor Election – 27th September 2019

Dear Parent / Guardian

We have a vacancy for a parent governor, and information and nomination forms have been circulated to all our families.

Parent governors are elected by and from the parents of children currently attending our school.  They serve a four-year term of office and bring a very important and valued perspective to the work of the governing body.  If you are interested in joining our Governing Body as a parent governor, you can find out more about the role by accessing this link  www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/schoolsnet/governors , or by downloading the information attached at the bottom of this page.

If you think you may be interested, but would like more information, contact our Chair of Governors Mr Stewart Hunter or Headteacher Mrs Sally Hunt for an informal chat via the office (email office@berryhill.gloucs.sch.uk  or telephone  01594 832262).

Please send nomination forms into the School Office no later than 3pm on Friday 11th October 2019.
